What began as a vacant processing plant purchased by Mazzetta Company in 2010 has become a state-of-the-art North Atlantic lobster processing facility. Beach Point Processing Company has grown over the past five years constructing better facilities, adding new equipment and continuously improving the product line.

MSC logoWe are proud to announce our MSC certification for locally caught Prince Edward Island lobster. During the summer months, fresh live lobster is delivered to us from our sister company, Atwood Lobster on the coast of Maine. The live lobster we process from Atwood also originates from an MSC certified fishery in Maine, allowing us to offer a large variety of retail and foodservice products containing the MSC eco label.

In late 2012, Beach Point Processing Co. expanded its footprint by purchasing a vacant lobster buying and holding facility in Clark's Harbour, Nova Scotia. This asset strengthens our supply of fresh, wild-caught lobster for both live sales and processing. Local fishing boats unload their days catch at the harbour just outside our front door.

The facility consists of two buildings, each containing large lobster holding tanks that provide us with both short and long term storage capabilities. A strong, well maintained inventory allows us to supply our customers with live lobster 52 weeks a year. Our expertise extends from refrigerated truck shipments sent to the East Coast and Mid-West United States to air containers to foreign countries such as China, Italy, Denmark, Sweden and more.

Atwood Lobster, located on Spruce Head Island, has two wharves where fishermen sell their fresh caught lobster. Lobster tanks are capable of holding up to 300,000 lbs of live lobster in chilled, recirculating water.

Beach Point Processing, located in Canada, produces a multitude of frozen lobster products. Live lobster is sourced locally from around the island as well as from Atwood Lobster in Maine.

Gloucester Seafood Processing

Gloucester Seafood Processing, Inc. produces fresh and frozen fish and lobster products. Lobsters are sourced by our sister company, Atwood Lobster, from an MSC certified fishery off the coast of Maine.

One of two freezer warehouses owned by Mazzetta Company, Londonderry Freezer has a full test kitchen, QC lab and USDC lab. Storage space is roughly 185,000 sq. ft.
